Wheel stud lock nuts

Hi all,

Recently fitted a new set of Cooper 26575R16's all round on the D40 and wish to stop those thieving pricks in society who also want a set but don't want to pay for them. So, i've decided to buy a set of lock nuts for the wheels.

Does anyone have them on their beasts and, if so, what type?

Oh, need to know the wheel stud size. Can anyone help? Can't find it in the manual.

I had them on mine which I got from supercheap but the local Nissan dealer or the tyre fitters wrecked them by using the rattle gun so I took them off.

Do you remember what thread size they were?

I have a D22 and cant remember sorry.

Id say D40 and D22 would be different.

They're pretty useless, a pair of vice grips or a cold chisel has them off in no time.

That may be so. But the longer it takes em the greater chance them being caught or they'll move onto another car that doesn't have them. That's my theory anywho.
