Everything is Reseting

Hey,

I only just bought a 2003 ST-R and i put a new deck in the other day and since then everytime i turn my car on everything has reset itself. eg. the clock, trip meter and all the setting and the deck have reset. I was wondering is this a fuse problem coz i did take out a fuse or 2 coz i blew the audio one but though i replaced all the right ones.

Welcome to the forums.

Check the D22 electrical section there is numerous threads on radio issues and how far they spread through out the system. Given that it started when you put in the new audio I'd say it's all related but I can't remember any specific information from those threads just that there has been a few of them.

sounds like battery voltage is to getting to low at some stage. check terminals and earths. also put battery on charge. i've had the same when the battery has gotten low.

Mine used to do that, I just replaced every fuse in the panel and it fixed it.
