G day everyone
just wondering if anyone out there has fitted an auto where there was a manual into an str d22 turbo diesel,and if there is any photos etc available.
Apologies in advance if this topic has been covered before.
 
I cant see why you couldnt but there would be a bit of stuffing around ie:cross member,oil cooler,shift,make up plate for hump.I know this because I have put a gen 3 and auto in mine.It is a pretty big conversion.
You would need to remap the computer aswell
 
Easiest way would be to go a GU Patrol auto or source a auto from a JDM ZD30DDT powered R50 Pathfinder.

They have a centre diff in the transfer, they can run 2wd and 4wd on tar.

I am pretty sure someone has said on 4wdaction that the AWD transfer and the part time in the R50 with the VG33E and VG30E will swap.

So you could always swap to a part time transfer.

Na Pathfinders have lowrange.

From memory the part time transfer in the R50 is the same used in the D22 and D21's.
