Hi Guys and Girls,

My mate has a D22 Navara ute. Its the 1999 Dx Model with the 3.2l Na Diesel.

I have convinced him to run 16 * 8 steel rims with some 285/75/16's.

He does not want any rubbing or to put any flares on it.

I know we will have to modify the metal mud guards, but we dont want to have to do much more.

what ofset rims will acheve this for us? Will the 0 ofset hit any inner guards? the -12 be allright? will the -22 sit outside the guards?

We are looking at lifting it, to start with 2inch suspention lift then maybe 2inch body lift. Depending on what we need to run the tyres...

So whats the best option here? does anyone have any pictures of similar Nav's with same size tyres? (if so include the rim ofset etc).

here is a picture :

thanks!

Go 32's or 265/75/16's, the QD32 ain't no rocket ship but will handle these fine without any real rubbing.

Dave.

I have 265/75/16's on mine with a 0 offset. The rim sits inline with the outer side of the flare at the front. The tyre sticks out about 10-15 mm but is hardly noticable. You will have to trim the mud flap where it joins the inner gaurd. This is with a suspension and body lift.
