Hey folks.
Family friend in Newcastle, has a set of 16' standard D40 rims. I think they are 16x7 255/7 16. Come of a new D40 about a month ago.
basically look like this.

Now i like the look of them better than the stock D22's. And hes willing to give them to me, all i gotta do is pay for postage.
Anyways, he was a tad concerned they would not suit the new D22's. Told me to find out. Something to do with the off-set. And the dealer gave me a rather technical "not possible" as an answer.
Why exactly is this? Is it because the wheel will be sticking out too much to the side or... ? I'm just a tad confused and wanna be sure 100% before i commit to them.
Thanks ahead.

I'm fairly sure it's been spoken about here and the same response was offered. D22 wheels can't just be put on a D40 or vice versa. Do a search for off set in the tyres section I'm sure you'll find something more about it.
