Noisy Serpentine Belt

My belt is starting to squeal.I have tried the grease and soap tricks and it will last a day or so then come back. At first I thought it was the tensioner pulley but doesnt seem to be the case but I now have one on its way for when mine does crap out.
Anyone got any ideas on what else might shut the belt up. I have 70k on the clock so its not that old so to speak.
How many kms would anyone expect from a belt?
I know its the belt now for sure as I can run the truck and carefully put a block of soap up onto the ridged side of the belt and the squeal goes away.

once any belt sqeals the only real fix is replacement. mine is over 180,000 on originals and about to be replaced because of cracking,not major but will do anyway

Ah well Ill start shopping .

talcum powder normally works for a couple of days,i have had same problem and just ended up replacing belt,mine only starting getting noisy after spilling coolant on it.
