Roof Baskets

Hey guys trying to find out what is a good roof basket to get? and whether to go steel mesh or Alloy of steel one like thules got?

Rhino rack roof baskets are good, solid planks as base and good tie down points, get it fitted with 3 cross bars for more strength.

Is cost a problem,
will it be on the roof permanately and which look do you prefer.

i only put mine (rhino rack medium size basket) on when i need it to go away, too much weight to drag around all the time. Also they do make a lot of wind noise, don't let anyone tell you they don't.

oh yeah keep an eye on ebay, got mine for $100 cash locally in as new condition.

Yeah then, a mesh one is for you..

I have a med size and it still gives me room on one side to put my storm pipe rod holder on.

Measure one up before you buy so then you'll be sure,depends what roof racks you have,
