I am fitting driving lights to my 08 d22 and wonder if the standard altinator is big enough to handle the extra load. Any advice would be appreciated

yes, i ran 4 lightforce XGTs on mine till they got nicked, never had an issue. got the 90 amp alternator off a GU ZD30 motor and now only run 2 100watt narva 225s

it'll be fine unless you're upgrading with a rediculously high wattage output.
