I'm new to this forum as I have only just bought a D40. I recently had an ARB canopy fitted and noticed that the welds between the front and side of the tub have cracked. As the truck is only just out of warranty Nissan say that it is not their problem. I just assumed that a 4x4 ute would last a bit longer than 3 years. The vehicle has not done any serious offroad yet, nor does it tow anything bigger than a tinnie.
I have since noticed that any other D40 I look at has 3-4 spot welds in the area where mine has none.
Is this usual?
