I know there was reports back as far as 06 or thereabouts in the D40's (think it might have been Aussie) but I haven't heard of the issue with many of the later models. Nissan I think fixed some of them under warranty. There was a thread about it on this forum somewhere.

Its in the D22 section Krafty.
No problems with mine.

I know it's in the D22 section but wasn't there more than one model of D22?
It seems to be a year issue going by the posts I've seen so I thought maybe pinning it down might have helped. Dammit Dave I said last week I was going to help someone one day stop raining on my parade.

The D40's had issues with paint peeling above the windscreen in the British models and in the gutter rails in the Aussie models but havent heard of the D22 suffering the same issues

Is it second hand? Mine is and about two years after I bought it I notice a cracking effect around the windscreen area above the driver. Turns out they've dropped something and bogged it and done a poor job painting it over instead of doing the whole roof again.
I wouldn't have even noticed had it not been for that cracking.
