Hi all, I found that the carpet in the passenger footwell was moist so pulled it up and the foam under neath was full of water - didn't smell or anything as was clear.

Has anyone come accross this before - We did have very heavy rain a week ago - are there any known leaks?

I saw on the D22 forum a mention of an overflow pipe in the D40 that can be easily fixed???

Vehicle is 2008 ST-X (Spain)

Thanks in advance for any tips

Check the engine bay on the left side on the firewall.

There is hose thats mean't to come through for the air con.

Go the warranty path like Aussie suggested, there was a known issue in 08 and early 09 models relating to the A/C pipe not being long enough (something most of us D40 drivers never have to worry about :eviltongue: ) or mounted so that it leaks into the cabin.

Thanks guys -sounding like A/C pipe - going in for service soon so will get them to look at it - cheers all and will let you know what happened.

Yep it was the A/C pipe leaking - the fitting and 'moved apart' and thus leaked - they put a new extention rubber piece and leaking has stopped.

Pulled up carpet and foam over weekendto dry out and now all good.
