After my last debacle I am curious to know how many of you have gauges fitted and what brand or if you just don't bother.

I have an apexi boost guadge in the nav but its not mine, its a mates.

and autoguadge temp and boost in the 180.

when i have to give back the nav's one ill get a temp/boost one for the nav. will prob end up with another set of cheap autoguadge ones. I like the new SCA ones but the wtemp is deg f not deg c and that annoys me. They have a digital version, havent seen if thats the same, if its the deg C i might get one.

I am looking at autometer egt and boost ultra lite series. Order from the US with pod for around $300US

The pod is going to be a universal one off ebay at this stage unitl I can source a RHD one not near the $100 mark...

The guages are available from Autometer.com and there is a list of distributors on the left of the site.

Plenty of styles to choose from, but alot are imperial so ensure you ask for metric or search for metric.

The guages are 7.5 cm deep so they don't fit the autron pilar as a couple of guys on here have shown.

Ah ok I was looking for the pillar pods like Dave has/had but they don't make them for a D40 and no one can tell me if the D22 ones will fit a D40. Even so at $160 they aren't that cheap, and it was just a thought since I already had the 2 battery meters sitting around.

Go VDO gauges.

Better quality by far.

I learnt the hard way.

Autometre Pyro's are rubbish.

Thanks for the advice Dave. Will reassess now. Lucky I didn't buy them last night...

Had my auto meter ultra lites for nearly 2 years now and not a problem
