Hi guys, I am a weekend saltwater estuary fisherman but I going to head to somerset dam (Qld) in a couple of weeks to have a go at the freshwater fish. Can anyone give me any tips on either the area or what gear to use?
My son will be coming with me and both will be using baitcasters and lures, but thats as much as I know. Any tips would be great.
ie:
Braid or mono?
Line strength?
Type of lures?
Time of day to fish?
Oh we will be fishing from tinny, not from the bank.
