2.5 or 3 inch

i have a 2010 d22 and want to put an exhaust on it to gain more power. i have herd mixed things about the size to go i am willing to go straight pipe all the way throught just want to know what would be best 2.5 inch or 3 inch any help would b great

Read the threads from Northside4x4 I'm fairly sure they have more than enough information about exhaust size and the benefits.
