again been along time since ive posted in here

car has had a bit more done to it.

to start with the dredded Nissan turbo went, i ended up getting in contact with Mike Vines Turbo at redlands and he put a standard turbo on but with a billet compressor wheel, when i got the car back it was really slugish, my father with a 2.5 V6 rodeo was towing 2 tonne and was pulling away from me, and i thought ill take it back, well after a fight with him he agreed to have a look at it, when i was cleaning the engine bay i noticed that the egr had a blanking plate, so when i took it back i asked did he blank it off, "yes i did" he responded, so i got him to remove the blanking plate i took it away and the car was back to normal, not slugy had my power back and boost was back to normal.

i now have a single draw in the back of the vehicle along with my fridge slide.

me and my father compete in tough tracks 4wd competition, and last year we won mod class, and as a yearly prize we got a gift voucher for LED Light bar, being a comp vehicle it already has one so dad gave me the voucher, so the navara now has a 20inch LED bar on the roof along with the HID Lightforce, i have great light coming from my car now :)

here is a couple of updated photos

That is interesting about the egr blanking plate. My 04 str had it done before I bought it but I find it very thirsty and lacking pulling power (33's don't help) I fitted a steinbuer chip which made little difference. I have 3" zorst no muffler I downsized the tailpipe to 21/2" which gave me some better pulling power.

see the car was running great before the turbo went, then the turbo got changed and the egr blanked and it ran like crap sitting at 11psi of boost at 100kms, where before it was sitting at 5.5-6psi at 100kms, now the egr isnt blanked and still with the aftermarket turbo its all back to normal sitting at 6psi at 100kms. so not sure what happened with the egr side of thing but the car 110% better now.

couple updated photos, took advantage of the day off yesterday to do some fishing with family over at Bribie Island, didnt catch anything so I took the opportuinty to take photos of the old girl next to dads beach Suzuki Vitara

Howdy Jason and welcome - how big is your tank ? mines 70 lt and i'm only getting 500klm from it !!! Goes in for dyno on Monday so I will see what he finds "maybe injectors" ??? She does puff a little white smoke so timing is a certain and I will see from there ...

Yea mate only the standard size tank I think its 75lt, the most ive ever put in is 71lt I think

I always use deisel injector cleaner every tank 50mm of cleaner every tank, ive noticed I get better economy and mor kms using it then not using it,

Finally got around to making my Camping light off the wheel carrier, made it out of a tent pole, just have to wire it up now
