Ordered bilsteins and 2 inch from zordo today.

Now to count down the 2.5 weeks till the end of my swing over west aus......

Went for a drive off the road on Saturday. It’s been raining a bit so was nice and slippery in places which was fun. Didn’t get stuck, but came close a couple of times.

After I got home and cleaned it off in the driveway I found a tennis ball sized lump of sandstone that had been stuck in the clay somewhere underneath. That’s pretty sticky clay to hang onto something of that size. Lucky it didn’t come off on the drive home, could have been a nasty surprise for someone following.

What did I do to my nav today?? I traded it in on a Colorado! After 6 years of battling the d40 every step of the way I decided enough was enough.

However I want to say a big thanks to everyone on this site. Your tips and knowledge has be very helpful. Cheers

Started to pull it apart to replace the clutch. After a couple of hours this arvo, I’m going to put what I’ve done back together and take it to a real mechanic. The box just looks too heavy for one to manage.

This week I fitted an Xrox bar and a pair of Korr 9 inch led spotlights.

Now put in 6", 3 way Pioneer speakers in rear doors.

http://www.navara.asia/showthread.php?t=9008

Was a Great Help, I used the wiring that was in doors already. Purple +, Green -

Just cut 140mm hole in door skin, 130mm up & 130mm in, that covered majority of the ashtray holes.

2nd May, I put in new Pioneer Head Deck, I might need better front speakers...

I did mine a while ago but i installed the seal to the inside of the tub ,will post up picture latter I did mine according to the instructions.
The way you have the seal attached to the sides of the tail gate is not going to seal any thing ,as it need to be sealed at the inside ,

340km service. Bloody hell I have had this rig for 15 years now! I have been thinking about a new one but...
Economical, aircon, Ute, diesel, still in good nick and already scratched up. It's not likely to cost me 40 odd grand either! Reckon I might hang onto it😁
