as long as you set it up for what you want to do with the car then I don't mind spending money on it. I know guys who have thrown thousands and thousands at their cars and don't use them.

agree to better suspension but work with what you've got :)

Fitted the Airlocker today, was quite surprised at how the front diff came out actually.

here is a photo of the broken crown and pinion

Gave it a full detailed clean first one for a while and it still shines like new :blingbling:

done a bit of work on the nav last week, pulled the rear extended shackles out and put a extra leaf in my spring pack, packer plate and a castor wedge to take the vibration out, the extra leaf will help when im loaded with camping gear as the springs were sagging and laying on the second stage of the spring. so the extra leaf will help with the load but my ride isnt any harder which is good.

went camping on the weekend and went for a nice drive around to test the new springs and have a bit of a play. very happy with the vehicle and its capabilities.

first photo is how the vehicle sat with Extended shackles and 2 photo is with extra leaf in, packer plate and standard shackles, then just some flexy shots from the weekend.

Wicket looking nav, everything is tidy and in proportion. How much did the rear mcc bar cost if you don't mind me asking?

Replaced my front shocks yesterday, replaced my EFS ones which are 5 years old and fitted Bilsteins from Zordo's, can certainly say i feel a massive difference in the vehicles front end, just feels nicer and handles better so far anyway.

Bit of a update.

i ended up selling the Km2's i found them heavy on the nav, using too much fuel and i felt like i had to drive it harder to make it go anywhere.

i have now got Goodyear Duratrac's had them for a few months now, and cant fault them, economy is back to where it should be, quite on the road. did just over 2000kms at the end of march and easter weekend with a little bit of dirt and corrugations.

Few photos below from the drive at easter, Water photos are between Mungindi and St George

Finally got ourselves a fox wing awning. Put te roof top on last night and made sure everything works the way I want it too and it does. Just need to modify a couple of the roof top poles to extended the fly on top

Also got new rims today got rid of the alloy allied wasps and got some dynamic 16x8 black steel rims with a positive 20offset which sits beautifully in the guards

We are wanting to do more trips away next year so I am looking at ways of simplifying the set to make it easier to get away
