I just replaced the pads on my v9x and noticed the passenger side rubber boot inside the caliper is damaged. Is this easy to replace or does some ABS resetting need to be performed?
Thanks,
Tom

pretty sure all you need to do is firstly disconnect the battery then losen off the brake bleed nipple so when you play with the piston to get the new boot on , you don,t interfere with the abs. the main issue with the abs is not to force the caliper piston back into the caliper housing without making sure the brake bleed nipple line is open.
