Hello! This is my first post on here and was hoping someone could help. I want to do the egr and swirl mod on my 2004 Navara D22. I've looked on this forum and gained a wealth of information, except my Navara is a bit different from everyone else's. Mine doesn't have the black switch, only red and green, so how do I do the swirl mod?
I've included some pics. I'm kinda confused, also there are no emissions regulations where I live so is it possible that from factory the egr is disabled? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

hi
what country are you from?
some of the other countries have lower emission laws so they do not have the swirl system installed.

have you got a better pic of the intake butterflies?
a view from the top is better.

Hi, thanks for the reply! I live in Trinidad and there are no emissions laws at all. Here are some other pics from above.

ok. yours has the swirl valve but doesn't have the egr butterfly. so basically it uses less egr than what ours does here.
it looks the same as some whats available in some other countries.

i think the swirl valve is the brown solenoid.
should be some pics around here somewhere.

Okay, thanks a lot for the advice! I read the egr/swirl super thread and saw some people just unplugged the brown switch to leave the swirl valve open, I think I might do that. Thanks again for the help!

only do that if you have blocked off the egr.
