So, memories of 2007 and early have been flooding in as we've been seeing the prices of brand new D22's go lower and lower.
We just couldn't resist a brand new with a 6 year warranty for under 30k with bullbar and towbar.
That thing was a beast in stock form and went anywhere, so we've decided to get one again as a play offroad vehicle, and keep the STX 550 for offroading with it and as the tow vehicle for the trailer.

The plan for now is to put some 265/75r16 Wrangler Duratracs on the stock rims, do a 2" lift, comes from the factory with steel bullbar, an ARB rear bar, EGR mod, chip and exhaust depending on how it affects warranty.

Here is our d22 from 2007!

Photos were around Kanangra Boyd National Park and dingo dell, had some good times there. Destroyed the rear suspension pretty good from high speed trail runs with the back full of wood and water.
Then we dented the fuel tank after we got it perched on a rock going up a hill at a farm hahaha.

The next time we went back was in 2011, with the STX- Hopefully we can go again so. Also looking at doing dingo dell again as we haven't done that for ages, but I've heard there have been lots of closures and areas only accessible by clubs etc.

One of the boys at work just traded in his 5 year old d22 for a brand new one.
The old one was due for tyres, brakes, the ball joints i think he said were flogged out and needed a couple other minor things.
The brand new one is costing him $40 LESS a week or month - can't remember
And less on insurance
He got the same sort of package your talking of.
Also came standard with some chunky looking 265/70-75? /16

Yah, few hours out of sydney near Oberon and Jenolan caves. great views of kanangara walls a short drive away. yeah our finance worked out to be pretty cheap a month. They come standard with 31's, 265/70r16.
From the factory getting it with snorkel, bullbar, mudmatts, weatherguard, extended warranty, central and remote locking, and tub-liner

Far thats crazy can you plz send me directions on how to get there or is it to hard

We did it a few years ago, so I can't remeber! Will give you some links to directions on earth4x4 of the different tracks there are. Just a warning it gets crazy slippery in the wet due to all the loam, clay and shale.

I've heard that some of the tracks have been shut because they are private property and the owners were getting in trouble with the waterboard because some 4x4'ers were tearing up the trails and polluting the rivers.
