Does anyone know if a fuel sender unit from a 1991 d21 extra cab will fit a 1991 d21 hardbody ute ? 2.4l rwd

I've got a D21 Kimgcab, the fuel tank holds around eighty odd litres, are the tanks the same shape? If so, I'm guessing yes.
