Alot of that fog is steam rising up from the thermal waters. It's a pretty amazing place.

Nearly ran this over,imagine this coming thought windscreen,
ps funniest thing I ever seen was a roo jumping wrong way & going through windscreen of my mates ute,with 3 heads on board 4 if u count roo,it was abandon ship without bothering to stop.Wish I had dashcam,still brings tears to my eyes.Lucky non of 4 suffered major injuries.

At risk of hijacking your thread but a couple years ago I went on a similar trip said I'd get around to posting some pics. Never got around to it but you have given the motivation to do so.

Great pics Tappet,keepem coming.The trip before last we went into Canada for a wedding,you made it to Alaska?We have been lucky enough to see Grizzies both times in Yellowstone,they reckon there is only 1800 left in lower 48.We havnt seen a black bear yet.Hugh
