We are still in Mesa Verde, more of the wild life.
They have little fear here, no hunting. This brings them right into your camp site, nibbling on your tent and anything you are careless to leave laying about.
We had rented a cabin down below Mesa Verde in a privately owned campground located near a ranch. It also had animals of its own.
I woke up early to watch the sun rise and caught this image of a little guy tearing ass around its mother. Running circles and kicking up dust.
A Chacoan outlier, some distance away from Chaco Canyon. The outliers are often more fun, they tend to be remote and the roads primitive. This one, if I remember correctly can be accessed fairly easy, or the hard way.

Hiking to Wijiji, no unauthorized vehicles allowed.
At Wijiji ruins, I apologize for the crazy blue sky but I had so little restraint when I edited this image. I will have to fix this one and bring it back to reality.
