Hi guys,

Before you say air conditioner hose please note I've checked.

Passenger side footwell both front and back have been extremely wet front more then the rear. Checked aircon hose and looks fine hose extends out far from the firewall and checked the inside connection seems dry. Water looks to be running from the door seal along inner rubber lining and dripping down into the footwell.

Anyone else had this issue and if so did changing the door seals fix this?

Hey mate. I had a similar issue a few years ago with my 2010 model. Only difference is it was the driver's side footwell getting soaked. It turned out to be the big wiring loom bung on the inside of the driver's side front quarter panel not sealing. When it rained the water was coming straight in where the wiring comes into the cabin. There is another one on the passenger's side, so it might pay to have a look at that too and see.

If that's all good and you're sure it is coming in door or windscreen seals it wouldn't hurt to change them and see if it fixes it. Good luck.

I had the same in the passenger side footwell.
Only happened when parked with nose facing down.
Turned out to be the top left windscreen rubber wasn't sealing correctly.

Thanks guys will have a look today. I did some patching around the windshield with windscreen sealant yesterday and had some rain last night so fingers crossed. I noticed a gap in the top left rubber on the windscreen so hopefully that sorted it.

The wiring loom is definitely the next spot to look at because I noticed water tracking down the wiring cover. It's hard to pin down the source as there was so much water, dried it all and will see today. Where/how did you plug your leak around the loom?

Okay so no luck with yesterday's patching...

Nose facing down the hill and water pooling in two spots: front left corner and front right corner.....firewall material drenched

I just ran silicon around the side of the rubber bung and it fixed it, yours sounds a bitmore serious though. You wouldn't expect a 2011 to be doing that, sounds like windscreen seals to me. You might have to take it in and see if you can get a window mob to replace the seal itself...

Mine did that in 2015 and is a 2011.
I used black sika flex on the underside of the roof/windscreen rubber and that worked for a couple of years.
Had to get the screen replaced a little while ago and the installers said that the factory seal in the top left hand corner was nearly non existent, they wondered why it never leaked any earlier.

I have a thread on here about it that might help. If I find it, I will post a link below.

Mine leaks through the AC condenser in the passenger footwell with the nose parked uphill, when it's parked level or nose down I have no issues.

And the winner is top left windscreen seal .....

Took off all the trim for a few days and found droplets running down the left pillar, into the plastic door trim that ran down into the footwell. Took it to a windscreen repair guy and paid a $100 to replace the rubbers and seal it (and remove the shitty patch job I did)......

Carpets nearly dry enough to put back in...thank you all for your help!

Photos for any poor person that has this after me...
