During a lesson about manners and etiquette the Mrs. Smith asks "Michael, if you were on a date having dinner with a nice young lady, how would you tell her you have to go to the bathroom?"
Michael replies "Excuse me, but I need to pee."
"That would be extremely impolite! What about you Stephen?" says Mrs. Smith.
"I am sorry, but I need to go to the bathroom. I'll be right back." says Stephen.
"That's better, but it's still a little impolite to mention the bathroom at the dinner table." replies Mrs. Smith.
All this time little Johnny has politely been waiting with his hand up.
"Alright Johnny, please use your manners, don't be crude and tell us how you would excuse yourself from the dinner table to a nice young lady to use the bathroom." says Mrs. Smith warily.
Johnny says "Gees I thought I'd never get a turn! I would say 'Darling, may I please be excused for a moment? I have to shake hands with a dear friend of mine... whom I hope to introduce you to after dinner.' "
