So I've been busy working on my nav and More problems keep popping up and most are fixable by myself but this time i have no idea why my tacho isn't working so if any of you have any knowledge could you please help ps all my gear was recovered by a nice old lady who's grandson was the thief and she has since compensated for it
 
good to hear you got your stuff back. dunno if yours will be the same but my sons 1999 d22 had tacho problems. turned out to be the electrical plug under the bonnet just above the alt. i just cleaned it and it worked
 
From what I remember there is a loose plug just near the alt but couldn't find where it plugs in to but thanks for your help man :)
