Hi Ashley. These cars have Piezo Electric fuel injectors and so the chips that tune them are very expensive. I dont want to remapp a new one so yes we used a CR chip.
We set them up with a datalog of the fuel pressure and turbo pressure voltages, then add some fuel and boost. To be fair it it was my car, this is what I would do. The added fuel was mild and the result actually better than we expected. AFR was good with the added boost.
I dont generally like common rail chips, But on this car its a good choice, as long as they are set up correctly, and we set them up correctly. Call me if you like any time, 0064 21 741658. Jason
