Hi guys....... long time lurker first time poster......just been given a 2002 d22 zd30 STR ...... father owned since new...240 000klm....regular services never had a problem...returns 740klm to a tank and although a bit rough ride wise....im lovin it for its simplicity and certainly a change from my wifes s class mercedes.....here to learn and possibly contribute where I can.....although at present I need some schooling on limp mode...yes I used the search!.... basically..changed oil and filter..car wouldnt start..hold starter on for extended time...engine light blinks it will fire but run really rough...im contemplating replacing fuel filter but unsure...car was perfect before changing oil....bit long winded, but of someone can point me in the right direction i would be gratefull..and no...I havent read what codes its thrown as i dont have a scan tool and i have cleaned earth points checked electrical conections.....seems strange as last week I replaced injector seals without a hassle......any input appreciated guys

Best to post your question in d22 section mate, you will get plenty of help. Did you change your fuel filter at all? Try pumping up the primer and make sure it is hard
