Hey guys, do yall know of any short shifters for a D40? I'm looking for one. If yall have any info help me out. Thanks.

Not really a short shifter as such, but I managed to fit a shifter from a territory diesel, which is the ZF 6 speed, I just like the look of the leather shift boot. It has made the shifter a bit shorter. I will put up some pics

I would have thought manual hahahaaha, I don't know why you'd want a short shifter in an auto.... Being they are a direct connection to the gearbox, a lot of people just cut the stock one down to what ever length they want on most cars... You can get a die and re thread a section for the gear knob if the stick is the same diameter

theres one available in the states
to suit a 5 and 6 speed but they are like $250+

I gotta say why would you bother it's not a race car we can do basic mods but why ? over time your stroke length reduces keep that up to date.

There is a difference between a short shifter and a shortened shifter, a mates track car has a short shift but the gear stick has been extended 200mm

If you want a shorter shifter just get a body lift and that will take 2" off, lol

Anyone tried the PRG on a navara/ it is designed for the v6 petrol gearbox and i was wondering if it fitted the yd25 gearbox..
