D40 Gearbox issue

Hi Guys,

Wondering if anyone can help. My D40 ST-X has been having issues with the gear stick lately. When the car is warmed up after driving 20-30k's I can't push the gear stick down to engage reverse, I really have to smack it to get it down and then for it to pop back up I have to yank it. Has anyone had this before??

I wonder if there's a gearbox mount that's not straight, or loose. It's possible that something isn't quite right inside the box too - if there's an issue with the selector arm, for example.

I'd also have a look at the engine mounts. If the engine isn't sitting straight it may affect the gear lever.
