Correct , that's what the new chip it chips do ,as long as you keep the egts at a reasonable level there is no problem ,I've even towed 3000kg and temps kept under 700c .But you have to have a big intercooler and a non restrictive exhaust otherwise temps will climb. Before intercooler upgrade I saw nearly 800c without any load .
