The extended ball joints mentioned would be in their upper control arm package?
 
Waiting on advice from the supplier on how to proceed. I'd imagine they've probably had a few calls today.

Removal and replacement is likely ... rather remove and replace a $150 part than potentially sacrifice a $20000 rig.
 
I called today. The upper arms have this ball joint.
Before i purchased the arms i purchased a 'lone set of ball joints to push into the standard arms which i never got around to doing-or selling.
On the list waiting for their decision. They suggested most likely a replacement but at worst a full refund.

Is there still a recall on these or have they been fixed i was about to buy some instead of buying adjustable ucas

The recall was on the batch affected.
It's illegal to sell.that batch and thus each and every set is to be accountable for no matter what.

Basically you can't buy the bad ones anymore only new ones
