The only problem is where Nissan have included a flow detection sensor in the EGR valve. If that's the case, a 6mm hole in the middle of the plate is usually enough to satisfy the sensor. Still allows some EGR through, but obviously much less than normal.
i doubt that.
the system detects flow change but afaik no flow sensor in the valve.
