Can you turn those 35s left to right?im running 33s and the required some guard trimming.was it a 2'lift you were running?or bigger

yes it is only a 2" lift,

and yes the guards do need to be cut to suit both the tyre and the flare, about 2"s has to be cut out of the guard.

Hi Matt,

You mentioned a custom stainless steel snorkel, are you wipping one up or have you located a manufacturer? I'd be keen to know more.

Also how much were the upper control arms?

So thats back and front gets the chop i assume.or is it all the way around.if all the way round hoy do you fix the inner guard back in place

Yea about 2"s all the way around, the kit comes with a complete new inner guard for the front to suit the 35" tyres, but as for the rear I will just make an inner guard myself to stop mud from hanging up and pulling the flare off.

the upper control arms come with the kit and where about $800 AUD roughly...

Lovely! post pic's, keen to see the results. Was looking at these guys - Millweld Customs (Mansfield Vic). They look to specialise in Patrols but I'm thinking of giving them a call and see if they'd be interested in having a go at a 550.

Thanks for the info on the upper control arms. Look to be about the same $$ as the Calmini ones, they've just released.

The back is all done, and will start the front guards when I get home from work next week.

And that old man with the Jigsaw is not me hahaha its my old man.. he like hacking new shit up..

Hi Guys,

Just before I left for work, I thought I might just pull the front inner guards out and see if I loose any lock with the 35's,, well because of the big offset -52 to be exact the wheels clear everything.
Which is really good.. only tricky job on the front is cutting a thin bit off the firewall where the seams are joined and spot weld it back together without lighting the carpet up on fire. :)
