It's been on for 15k, thought it was time to take a few pic's.
Internal frame supports 250kg on top
1.8 long, 1.8 wide
320kg weight needs springs capable of load
Internal drawer is worth the $400

Looks GREAT John,

Ive had a few different setups on my tray in the 18months I've owned this Nav.
Really thinking of changing again to a similar setup. did this come new?

Overlooked the sliders too..
Great stuff, custom made? Was it a local supplier?

Thanks for the thumbs up guy's, I did forget to mention these canopies are 100% dust and waterproof. I've had 3 other types on various tubs and it was impossible to seal them.

Dave and Bryan, your looking at $3500 for the tray and canopy, fitting and removal of the tub was only $150. Not worth the effort to fit yourself for that price, the canopy is removable with four bolts if you need the tray only. And add another $100 for the led tail lights.

I went to the tip on Sunday with the tray full of cardboard. I asked the operator if I could weigh on the way out. The heavy bitch was just under 2.8 tonne. With the 32's and the extra wind resistance of the box I still get around 10lph with no highway involved. Next plan is a 180 watt solar panel on the cab racks on an angle to act as a wind deflector. Interesting how it weighs up, when it was bog standard it was just over 2 tonne. I guess towing a good size van now would be a legal worry, something most do not consider.

I'm now 2.9 tonne with little fuel and no passengers. After 100k the yd seems stronger even with the 32's and weight. I'm guessing I can only pull around 2 tonne now to stay legal.
