Hi fellas
Choosing a winch to go on with my bar.
The two I've narrowed it down to are the tjm and the VRS, both 9500lb and both same price quoted at 4x4 show at $999.
From what I've researched both are designed in aus and built in China.
The VRS is ip68 rated
The tjm only says the controler is ip65 rated
At this stage I'm leaning towards the VRS.
What do you recon or have had experience with.

have you looked at runva winches. plenty of positive feedback, good warranty and a bit cheaper than the one your looking at
 
A fair few of the winches available all look like they are made in the same factory and then rebranded. Have a look at the ones sold in supercheap, bcf and rays outdoors. They all retail for close $1000 but every second week they have them on sale for $500. Have a look on ebay you can pick up a 12,000lb winch with synthetic rope for under $400, the majority of the models look exactly the same as one sold be bcf and supercheap mentioned above.
