Help please

hey guys
in my 06 navara d22 3.0ltr
im having trouble in 3rd and 4th gear like its lacking power between 2000 and 3000 rpm
and its got me completely stumped what the problem could be

the taco goes up really slowly, feels like its lacking fuel or loading something up but i cant figure out what it is

any help or suggestions will be muchly appreciated

These are typical Neutral Position Sensor (NPS) symptoms. Either for a new switch or trim some of the seat away to allow the switch to penetrate into the gearbox further.

Yep
Try unpluging neutral position switch first.

okay cheers guys ill look at buy a new one soon when i had a look under the car i saw that there was 3 on the gear box do i have to replace them all???

Nah, just the one. I think its the middle one, blue maybe?

If you're unsure which switch it is (and I thought it was the blue one too) try holding the gear lever to one side or the other rather than just letting it go after changing into 3rd.
