Bogging down at low speed and low revs

I'm having a major problem between 1500-2500 revs it feels like the brakes are on and struggling then about 2500-3000 it takes off as normal.
Happens on every gear
What you recon?
Turbo, boost leak, fuel filter, air filter, injectors, NPS?
Any help will be great

I'd be looking at boost first, certainly sounds like the turbocharger is struggling to produce power. Have you had a look at it?

I'd disconnect the NPS for a start, but 300k+ on the factory turbo it's going to be getting very tired.

Just disconnect it, there's probably many a thread on it if you do a search. Too early to stress about your turbo yet, rule out the simpler things first.

Poke at the turbo. It should turn smoothly (no grittiness) and shouldn't be stiff.

It would also be prudent to check the wastegate control.

no mafs on that engine. its the air temp sensor.

i would go find a garage with a decent scan gauge and see what the ICV% value is at idle. i suspect its probably low due to worn injection pump. at low rpm the injection pump struggles to make enough internal fuel pressure which in turn makes the timing run retarded, which makes it run like crap.
in the higher rpm it makes enough pressure to get good enough timing.

did this, it ran perfectly fine..

expensive visit to garage now me thinks

also, if it was a vacum line would it be like this thru all rev range or only low down?
