ZD30 Engine Light

hey, so my d22 has been throwing engine lights lately when the cars idling or going at a low speed. took it to nissan and they charged me $475 for a service and scan which scan came back with no codes on the computer. picked up and took for a drive and was fine, started up, went for a 10km drive, pulled up in my driveway and engine light came back on. i don’t really want to take it back to nissan and pay another stupid amount for them to do **** all, so hopefully someone here knows something. all help appreciated.

Seems unusual to not have any codes.
The other reason the engine light comes on is if there's water in the fuel filter. Drain it from the fitting on the bottom of the filter into a clear glass and let it settle.

Try to find the code yourself.
It may show something that the dealer didn't find, if they did anything at all.
Search here you will find the step by step procedure using no scan tools.

count the flashes. half will be long and others with be short.

figured out how to find the code, don’t know how to read, just took a video and put it on youtube. anyone know what it is? think there might be more than one code.
