Hey guys,

I finally got myself a set of these (16x8 ET 0) after drooling over them for months. They are an absolutely fantastic looking wheel, but there is one minor downside apart from the price

The wheel nuts sit inside really deep holes and a 21mm socket just fits inside to do a wheel nut up. It is an absolute pain to do one nut up, but once you have one seat the rest are easy. This is just something for people to keep in mind when buying these wheels, they will definitely add time to change if you need to do so in the case of a puncture. It also means you cant use a standard cross time wheel brace and you'll need to carry a 21mm socket with and breaker bar at all times in case you need to change the wheel.

I am getting them fitted up tomorrow, I expect I'll need to do a little panel beating so I dont get too much scrub as I am fitting a 265/75 tyre and with the 0 offset it will likely scrub a bit compared to my stock wheel with the same tyre.

Cheers,
Alex

I want a set of these but don't want the 0 offset. Keen to see a pic after you've fitted them to see how far out of the guards the tyre will sit.

Keen here aswell. A mate just had some American racing rims fitted and he was given a socket to suit the rims when he picked it up. It was a high tensile socket with a thinner wall to keep it off the paint work and stop scratching it. I also would like a set but in a +20 offset to keep it in the gaurds

The zero offset sits flush with the guards, the sidewall of the tyre will bulge out though, will post pics when they are on after I pic it up this arvo after work.

I like the 0 offset for increased wheel track and look, it isnt technically legal but I doubt people you get hassled for it, especially when I only have 25/75/16 tyres

I've seen the transport authority set up after coming off the inskip ferry hastling 4wds before. I'd prefer to stay visibly legal plus any insurance ramifications if you have an accident...I don't want them having any option of weasling out of a claim!

Legally you cant increase wheel track by more than 50mm, I increased my wheel track by 80mm. The wheels and tread are under the guard but the sidewall hangs out a fair way, I may need to look at extended rubber flairs in the near future

Pics

As requested, as you can see stamped on the back of the wheel they are made in china :( oh well they still look awesome haha.

Haha thanks mate! It took some serious panel beating on the guards though. Even now on full compression I get scrubbing on the top of the wheel arch
