what year?
what engine?

check the owners manual, the service list should say what needs to be done.

80k is a major service and circa 1k seems to be what nissan charge. there is a lot of work involved assuming they do it all by the book. as far as i know tappets etc. don't need adjusting at that service.

Yd25 doesn't have adjustable tappets. Front wheel bearing repack every 40k km, which is why Nissan charge so much.

There will be other things too, as mentioned above, check the service book and it will tell you. I don't know if they do a full fluids change, but I did my 80k myself and changed everything.

You don't have to take it to Nissan. Better off finding a decent independent mechanic that will probably only charge half that and do a better job.

yes that quoted price to do the tappets is a beauty for them considering there not adjustable.
