I have purchased a Snugtop canopy secondhand for my D40 and will pick it up tonight. I was wondering if I can fit it over the top of the thin aluminum rail that exists to pull my tonneau cover over and into. I am assuming I will have to remove this flat piece of aluminium that is pop riveted on and once the canopy top is on i will no longer have the ability to take the canopy off and use the tonneau cover any more unless I pop rivet the aluminum rail back on?? Has anyone else come across this problem? Cheers
