Hey Guys,

After driving a GQ Patrol for the last 10 years im looking at upgrading to a Navara D40. I have found a car yard in brisbane selling a few ex-fleet 2011 D40 RX Twin cabs, which is what im looking for. They are all around the 60,000 - 90,000 km mark and around $24k-25k. Just looking for some thoughts on these vehicles by some experienced Navara owners.

Welcome to the forum!

13 of the bloody things and ALL of them have steel bars and trays on the back.

The RX isn't a BAD buy. It's the pov pack of the D40 world but it's still a D40.

Being fleet cars, they probably had the shit beaten out of them but they were also probably serviced reasonably as well. If you don't hear timing chain noise up front then they're probably good to go - take one for a drive and give the clutch a caning, if it's using the dual mass flywheel the clutch will fade a little fairly quickly.

Other than that, they all look ready to start modding and having fun with!

for 5k more, you can one new.
courier mail was advertising rx dual cabs for under 30k on the weekend(not sure if it included on road costs). i believe nissan have heaps of 2013 stock, hence the price
