Scotty Bobcat just put an Independent setup on his trailer he built before the muster.
shoot him a PM mate he may be able to help.

Dont judge me on the tailshaft welding its a mock up...not saying its for everyone to tackle but its a reasonbly slender (top to bottom) unit.just drop the diff center and axles and your away! Trailing arm setup just like you pic...altho not paralelle..pump the height up too much and you see some wicked camber uploadfromtaptalk1416214800536.jpguploadfromtaptalk1416214800536.jpguploadfromtaptalk1416214800536.jpg

Surprising yes.i can run some measurements if you want..comes with disc braked and handbrake capabilitys...pretty much HQ stud pattern

Have a google.of huntsman products.
Dunno what they charge but I know they do a vaersion of it

It's called "cruisemaster" suspension. It's top-of-the-line for caravans.

Basically it's a trailing arm with a coil spring and 1 or 2 shocks depending on load and requirements. Generally NOT put on caravans because it's more expensive and a lot of the caravans you buy these days aren't designed to go off-tar. You can ask for it - it's like $4500-$5000 on top of the van's price.

So i got huntsman down from 1500 to $1000 minus shocks, springs, and electric brakes.. Still thats still too much..

I would pay the $1500.00 for everything. That's what I paid. The springs are $150.00 each on their own plus shocks and brakes. I got mine through Huntsman too. Depending on where you plan to take your trailer, get the 2700 or 3000 kg rating. If your planning on the Cape get the heavier duty ones
