Catch Can Install, Struggled to fit Provent 200, Used Provent 100 instead (ZD30)
Hey everyone,
I initially set out to install a Provent 200, but struggled to find a place to put it.
A front mount intercooler, boost controller and planned batteries behind the passenger headlight and where the fuel filter is, left me with not many options (at least not that I could think of) I then had a look and found a few good examples of people having fitted Provent 100 (and similar) on here, but I didn't want to put it over near the fuel filter, due to the planned battery and the rest of the piping stuff going on around that area, after having a look at the Provent 100's the filters appear to be around 3/4 or so the size of the provent 200, while being in a much smaller form factor, there is quite a lot of empty space in the 200's (where the filter grab handle is)
-- As noted by Tony D22 below, the Provent 100 would just need to be drained and or have the filter replaced a little bit more frequently.
So I figured I'd use a Provent 100 instead, attached are my results.
I made a bracket out of two Dunnings brackets from Bunnings (yep you read that correctly)

I found that a good looking spot was over near the fuses and the power steering/brake fluid reservoirs, so one bracket was bent into a 90 degree"ish" angle, and the other was welded onto that (See photos)
I used the 12mm hoses that came with the Provent 200 kit that I had gotten, those are then connected to the 1/2" (12mm) barb end of some brass fittings, which have 3/4" (19mm) BSP, which is then jammed into the ends of some short 19mm hose, I still need to add some clamps onto that side of things, and it would be sweet.
The drain hose then runs down the drivers side of the chassis and ends somewhere under the drivers seat.
