now for the next step the exhaust... been doin some reserch and found the systems listed in here are a bit dear for my budget, so i went bak to the old systems i have used in the past MANTA exhaust..
my dad has a 2008 2.5 str cr as well and he has bought a system from MANTA exhaust.. will give updates on the system in coming days itz a 3" straight trough with hight flow muffler mild steel mandrel bent

just had the bar removed and straightened lookin pretty smick now..
there was a tow ball dent bout 2" deep came out damn good re-fitted the grill and found there was a cpl of clips broken.. wondering if any1 has any spare top grill clips i can salvage from from any1 would be much appreciated

So i ordered the exhaust 2day should be here by end of week.. sorry been a while just been crazy around here 
..
anyhow will post pics of the install and give a video of the sound quality..
will be doing a few drives in the nxt month doin a run up to Cameron corner as ima not far from it..
If anybody has been there b4 and know a good track to test the rig out would be muchly appreciated and have a patrol coming too hehe

installed the exhaust 2day all went well ima currently writing up a DIY installation on a 3" exhaust system using Manta products will keep ya posted

DIY 3" dump pipe and exhaust install
the pics have instructions on them so self explanatory..
for me it went really well and took about 3hrs on the ground with a piece of cardboard as my headrest for the ground
The really fiddly bit was the dump pipe and the 4 bolts as little room for movement unless u have a flexi head ratchet..
list of tools used are as follows;
Flexi head ratchet
10/14/17mm sockets
10/14/17mm ratchet ring spanners
mech gloves to saves those knuckles
cpl of beers and a good wife
and most of all patients as it will be easier that way
the pics have instructions on them so self explanatory..
