Central Locking

Hi Guys,
As best I can tell my ute is a 2003 D22 STR (although it had no stickers etc on it) and the original paperwork refers to it as "NAVARAZMD4 ST"

My question is did this model come out with remote central locking?
I can unlock all doors from the drivers door, but only ever got a "normal" non-remote type set of keys with it when I bought it secondhand.

The manual is no help as it doesn't clarify whether mine should have it but has it in the book regardless.

Should it have remote central locking and is it worth fronting a dealer to see if I can get a replacement key? Any thoughts, info?

Mines 04 str and only came with a standard key which operates central locking, I bought it secondhand and just assume thats the way it is. But i stand to be corrected

Nizzbits will sell you a kit if you want keyless entry or get an alarm.

I got a $48 keyless entry cental locking kit off ebay and fitted it to mine. Just cut the other 3 door wires off the loom and ran the actuator wires into the drivers door.

Dave do nizzbits sell a factory keyless for these???

Its just a just a factory kit that plugs in and you get 2 buttons.

Damn wish i know about that 2 weeks ago. Oh well!! I bet ita worth a pretty penny tho.
