Does anyone use 285's with a V6 auto

G'day Guys,

I am in the process of trying to decide weather to fit 265's, or 285's to my ute.

I have used 265's before and found them not to bad, but I was just wondering if anyone has used 285's with a 4.0ltr V6 automatic. I am interested in if the gearing was right for the taller tyre, and what the result was with your fuel economy?

I will be fitting a 2 inch suspension, and a 2 inch body lift so there shouldn't be any issues with the 33 fitting, but don't want to do it if it cost me a fortune at the bowser....?

Any advice you could offer would be great

I have 285's and mine is a 4L petrol it's manual though, I lose about 50-75km per tank. 400km per tank on average. Speedo is dead accurate though. according to my GPS.
