Project Alice

My D22 needs a full body overhaul. Starting with the tub lid then tail gate and roof detailed with candy gt style stripes. I'll be remoulding the bonnet to feature a spine and ribs separating air intake gills. Airbrushed to incorperate the gt stripes. grill is to be remade in a bone structure it will not protrude out as far as the stock grill, (flush with the headlights) this will hopefully giv me a meaner looking front end. ill have to find someone to build me a shorter profile winch bar and bash plate.
Ill be reinforcing the wheel flares then carving and adding too creat a bone and skull structure. Some side mural work incorperating the 4x4 offroad siticker design and sheel be complete.
interior wise Dash centre cover and silver parts of the armrests to be candied up aswell.
im wondering if there is a dash style handbrake available so i can have a free run on rebuilding a centre console and gearstick shroud.

Yeah head for a wreckers and look for a single cab 4x2 or 4x4, they had umbrella handbrakes.

The airbrushing is pretty gnarly.

The weather has been a little crap for painting the last few days. I dont see it coming good soon so im of to pick up some moulding supplies and start work on a new grill. Im really liking the xrox bullbar. Is there a stokist in sydney. I dont recall seeing them at eastern creek 4x4 show?

Weather has been good so I got chance to install a snorkel and paint its gaurd. Changed wheel sizes to maxis 75s and trimmed inner gaurds. Had to buy two new spares so I got the bighorns (very noisy on road) and 4 of the bravo mts on the navara rims which I painted.
