I have been scouring the service manual to see what pressure the injection pump see's from the lift pump.

Thinking it might be time to upgrade the lift pump to cope with the chip on the way and larger turbo.

Hopefully its just as simple as dropping a walbro in there :)

deisel?

there is no in tank lift pump. the injection pumps sucks it straight from the tank which should be fine with the chip etc.

probably not, unless your running multiable fuel filters. the common rail feed pump is fairly strong. i doubt you will ever inject that much that it starts to starve of fuel.

what you can do is fit a vac/pressure gauge to the fuel line and measure the vacuum in the fuel line.

guys have been fitting pusher pumps, especially on the non-CR motors, when running dual filters. a couple of good things it helps with bleeding air out of the filters and pushing extra fuel around helps with the fuel cooling.

i only have the 2 filters...well at least i know the one on the left of the pic is a fuel filter but there is another filter to the right of the catch can in the pic....havent seen mention of that on the other navara's

yeah i've seen that in the D22's, must for the poorer fuel (water? high humidity?) in those countries.
for those with single filters its not a bad idea to fit another. it saves the main one from clogging up so fast.

if you fit a pusher pump you will need a high flow low pressure pump like a holley red or carter and bypass valve in case pump fails.
